he’s still the same kid

as a baby, he was curious, quiet, content, and wary of people and new things.

he is still that exact same person.

maybe we wish he were a little more energetic at times, or a little less curious at times,

but not really.

my boy is a teenager now, the time I dreaded most.

not because of the supposed conflicts,

but because it means his time with us,

his time as a child,

is that much closer to the end.

i can see it in his eyes.

mellie - That boy, my goodness. He is such a sweet soul. We love him to pieces. That last photo really makes him look like a teen to me. My auntie heart is breaking.

And I love the sun saturated photo.

Vicki - oh my, what a heart-breaker!

Vicki - To many others, the last photo could be solemn, thoughtful, endearing. When I look at it I hear “Alright, Mom, get the camera outta my nose, for Pete’s sake!” Love him to pieces!!!

Grandma Rosi - he is so darn beautiful (inside and out). he reminds me of Rick in so many ways. I love him so much

kristin - oh, sweet boy, savor the countdown to change.

Ellen - I love, love that last picture.

Jen - That last picture just kills me. Those EYES! I’m not loving the whole teenager thing either, but it is pretty amazing watching them figure out who they are, isn’t it?
